  • Meet the Founder of HeartGlass

    Demi George

  • Demi George, age 27 was born and raised in Minnesota, specifically Minneapolis, Prior Lake and Lake Minnetonka area. Her Grandmother taught her sewing and knitting at a young age, so it was a natural born-with skill.

    She had started in retail at age 17 at Plato’s Closet, then in college she worked at Nordstrom and then luxury retail.

  • She has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Arizona State University, where she lived and founded her company there from 2015-2019.

  • She would drive six hours from phoenix to Los Angeles to develop the collection, adamant to be inspired by earths natural beauty. She fell in love with herself on the journey of finding her business HeartGlass that promotes self love.

Both! HeartGlass™ was originally made as a swimsuit. It is worn universally as shapewear, workout top, and sports bra. Also, it is even easier AND faster to slip off when you're done and put on than traditional swimsuits.

Why focus on breast and rear end sizing?

Traditional swimwear often uses standard sizing that doesn't accommodate pear shape, apple shape and hourglass shaped bodies all in one sizing run. Our approach bases the sizing on women's breast and rear end size to make up the variations of different top and bottom sizes in one size run. It's proven that the HeartGlass size ensures better support, comfort, and confidence for pear, apple and hourglass shaped women. 

Does the swimwear also provide shapewear benefits?

Yes! Our swimwear sculpts and supports your curves while offering all-day comfort. It's designed to smooth and enhance without feeling restrictive. It gives a reasonable compression enough to support DDD's and smoothing effects.

Is it designed for all body shapes?

Yes! All of our sizing is based on the HeartGlass size that is based on pear shaped bodies, apple shaped bodies and hourglass shaped bodies. It is a specific size that allows for different variations of top and bottom sizes based on women's breast size and rear end sizes that create these semi-custom fit combinations all in one so it fits right all over.

Is the swimwear supportive for larger bust sizes?

Absolutely! Our swimsuits feature built-in support and size-specific designs for your bust area to provide the perfect fit for every bust size through DDD and G cups while still having a smaller waist. See, the HeartGlass size doesn't just get wider all around like traditional sizing does. Our sizing moves with a women's form as the size changes, rather than not relating with the majority of women's figures.

How does the new sizing system work?

It works as easy as asking yourself if you have larger breasts or larger rear end sizes. Most women already know if they are a larger or smaller size not the top or the bottom. These include referring to yourself as pear shaped, apple shaped, or having an hourglass figure. Our sizing is based on women's natural fluctuations of larger and smaller breast sizes and rear end sizes. We develop from the root of how women's bodies work.
